About EBC

Mission

Our mission is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by worshiping Him as the one true and living God (exaltation), by reaching the lost with the gospel message of salvation (evangelization), and by discipling believers through the study of the Scriptures (edification). View our doctrinal statement

About Emmanuel Bible Church

We are an independent, non-denominational Bible Church whose head is Jesus Christ. As such we have close relationships with churches locally and nationally but are lead locally. God has built the foundation for the spiritual life at Emmanuel Bible Church. This foundation includes sound doctrine, spiritual leadership, and active service. We are convinced that God’s legacy of faithfulness to us will continue in the future if we remain faithful to Him and His Word.

What to Expect

Expect to see and meet imperfect people who love Jesus and are working to look a little more like Him each day. Expect to worship God through expository preaching, fellowship, prayer and communion. We consider our church to be a healthy mixture of young an old and are always about praying we’d be an increasingly multi-ethnic and multi-generational church so we can be better picture of heaven! On Sunday morning, or in a weekly small group, you will see a lot of young families with kids from newborn to high school age. Our worship through music is a mixture of hymns and contemporary favorites. The attire you will find at EBC ranges from suit & tie to jeans and a t-shirt, but at EBC we want to emphasize your heart and attitude toward worship & pray it would be one of humility and eagerness to worship God.

Our Lord

Jesus is the Head of Emmanuel Bible Church—He is the reason we exist and all glory goes to Him.

Jesus, our risen Lord, is the reason we gather, worship, sing, pray, and preach. Had Christ not died, paid the life and blood debt, there would be no hope for mankind, redemption for sinners, chance for salvation, or existence of a Church. Because He did die, there is a hope that is a real and certain expectation for sinners. His work of service and sacrifice is unrivaled and what we celebrate as the ultimate expression of love.

On the basis of this atonement, we now have the opportunity to be called children of God (Romans 8:15-17). We now have the right to approach the throne with confidence through Christ, and God can in fact relate to us as a Father to His sons and daughters (Hebrews 7:25). There will come a day when Christ will return to the earth to judge as final Lord and King over all creation (John 5:22,27). Oh, thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

Additionally we believe and teach:

Jesus was in the beginning (John 1:1; Revelation 1:8), existed before time began (Jude 1:25), and was the active creator of the universe. Hebrews 1:1-2). He fulfilled prophecy written hundreds of years before His birth (Isaiah 53; Psalm 22). He came through a virgin birth Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:26-38 ) by conception of the Holy Spirit, Matthew 1:18-25) and took on the flesh of man John 1:1-14) to live a perfect and sinless life (Hebrews 4:15). He was crucified by men, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will one day return again physically to the earth. Jesus was fully man and fully God, possessing both natures without conflict, compromise or divorcing of either nature.

Our History

Established in 1963, our humble church began with 29 original members. We moved into our present location in December 1964 and presently we have around 200 members and an average weekly attendance of 350 people.

More important than numbers, programs, and structures, however, is the foundation for the spiritual life at Emmanuel Bible Church that God has been built. This foundation includes sound doctrine, spiritual leadership, and active service. We are convinced that God’s legacy of faithfulness to us will continue in the future if we remain faithful to Him and His Word.
